There’s flash, and then there’s micro, super-sonic fiction. I really like this piece, though I’m not sure if I would call it a story. There is certainly an arc. There are characters, but they are not fully developed (for example we don’t know the relationship, they could be siblings or lovers), and they lack much agency towards the relevant twist in the plot (they just happen to be at the right place at the perfect time). What if Murphy had actually been the bomber? A twist to a sentence could have made it so. But nevertheless, its a fun little piece. Hop over and give the author some rocket dragons!
